So hey guys! I'm back, sort of. I haven't told you think but I'm currently running another blog with my friend Hannah. Please go check it out! Click here if you want to.

Anywhoozle, I'm probably not going to be updating this a lot, just because of my other blog and school is starting soon. I hope you understand! :P

Just letting you know that this blog isn't over, but it won't be updated as often. Cya!

Change in Plans... kind of.

So... You know how I said I was going to start a school series? Well, like the title suggests, a little change in plans. My friend Hannah and I had the idea of maybe doing a "blog collab" together? Like a back-to-school blog. I don't know... it's not finalized yet. But, Hannah, I'm guessing that you're reading this, so, if you are, here are my ideas for it!

  • Hannah could do the fashion/makeup/beauty/hair tips and guides.
  • I could do study tips, test taking tips, organization & supply tips and guides.
  • We could both do supply and fashion "hauls."
  • If possible, we would post like, 2 times a week, different days.

And... yeah! Those are my ideas. Hannah, if you're reading this, PLEASE COMMENT! (: Cya!

Back to School Series!

Hello! I'm going to be starting a new series on my blog about going back to school. I know some people start school earlier than I do, so I decided to start it in August. I was going to start August 1st... but whatever. Anyway, this series will consist of various blog posts, with topics like...

  • Organization
  • What To Wear/Fashion
  • Study Tips
  • ... and more!

I should have the first post up by the end of the day, but if I don't, then you'll definitely see one tomorrow! Thanks for reading!

Xoxo,
Hayl

(P.S. I might also have a new layout...)

I'm Terrible.

I'm a terrible person. I'm quitting the 30 Day Challenge. I'm just not feeling it anymore. :/
I'm sorry to those who might have been looking forward to my other posts. But there shall be no more... :P

DAY 19: A habit I wish I didn't have.

The habit I wish I didn't have is cracking my knuckles. It's not even because of the possible joint problems, it's because everyone in my family questions me and tells me to stop! Haha. They're always like, "You gotta stop cracking your knuckles! They're gonna grow bigger! You're gonna have joint problems!" Oh, and, by the way, cracking your knuckles does not cause them to get bigger. That's just a good old myth. Mk, thanks for reading! Bye!

DAY 18: A letter to someone you miss.

I thought about this long and hard... and there's really no one specific I miss terribly... I miss my friends in general. I miss seeing them five days a week. I know it sounds kind of dumb, but I miss school! I know once I start school I'll want it to be summer again, but yeah. That is all. I know this one was really short but I'm kind of in a rush so yeah. Bye!

DAY 17: A photo that makes you cry.

Hey guys! Sorry there was a little gap in between posting, I just took a little time off, I guess you could say. Anyway, today I have to show you a picture that makes me cry. Uhm... I thought about this for awhile and I can't think of a picture that would make me cry. So... yeah. Maybe Day 18 will be better. Hopefully. Cya!

DAY 16: A photo that makes me smile.

So, todays theme topic thing is a photo that makes me smile. Now, obviously the picture is above, and honestly I don't know why it makes me smile, but it just does. It's a picture of the Strokes if you didn't know, and just... Hahaha. I don't know! But yeah... Day 16, not a very exciting post, but hey! CYA!

DAY 15: What you would do if you were pregnant or got someone pregnant?

Okay, to be honest with you I looked at the topics for each day yesterday and, once I saw this one... Ugh, I DREAD THIS DAY! Hahaha. Well, first off, I can't really get anyone pregnant, because I'm a girl. But if I were to get pregnant... I mean, hopefully I would already be in a committed relationship if not married before I engaged in the kind of "activity", so it wouldn't matter that much... OKAY. So this is really awkward and not very age appropriate for me. SO BYE! LOL.

DAY 14: Something I love about myself.

Hello! Today is Day 14 of the 30 Day Challenge if you didn't already know! Today I have to tell you guys about something I love about myself. Well, quite honestly I love my eyes! Like, I love the shape of them. However I don't like the color... They're blue... Blue is an okay eye color. But I wish I had green eyes! My dad has green eyes and my mom has blue eyes, and obviously I got my mom's eye color gene. But I really wish I had my dad's eyes, because his aren't only green... THEY CHANGE COLORS! It's really cool haha. Anyway, yeah, and I have really long eyelashes which I love! Haha. That's really all... BYE!

DAY 13: Your least favorite female group.

YAY DAY 13! Today I have to tell you about my least favorite female group. Well, this topic kind of sucks BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO IT BLAH! Hahaha. I don't listen to female groups... OKAY, I admit I have ONE song by the Pussycat Dolls on my iPod... but I bought it like two years ago... DON'T JUDGE ME! LOL! Anyway... CYA!

DAY 12: Your favorite female group.

DAY 12 WOOOOOO! Today I have to tell you about my favorite female group. Oh, geez. This kind of sucks considering I don't have one. I don't listen to any female groups to be honest. I listen to all male groups... Hmm... SORRY I couldn't tell you my favorite female group. Haha. SO YEAH BYE!

DAY 11: A letter to one of my exes.

Hello! So... Day 11. A letter to one of my exes. Well, considering I've never dated anyone, I can't really do this. You might be wondering, "OMGZ HAYLZ WHYZ HAVENTZ YOUZ DATEDZ ANYONEZ?! THATS LIKE SOOOOOOOOO UNCOOL!" I'm pretty young, and I don't think dating is necessary for someone my age. I'm not going to say my age, but let's just say I'm around 13 years. And yeah, I'll start dating later, but for now I'm just going to enjoy my life boyfriend-free! :P So yup, that's all! Cya!

Animal Testing

Hello! I've decided that since some of the 30 Day Challenge Days I can't answer and aren't very exciting, I'd write a more interesting post. As you can probably tell, it's going to be about animal testing. I'm gonna try and not make this too long. Anyway! I never really knew about animal testing until recently. And, quite frankly, I think it's almost completely unnecessary. The only case where I think it's slightly okay is for medicine. But for cosmetics, household products, leisure type products, it's just... ugh. I can't even find the words. If you aren't completely aware of what animals go through during animal testing, it ranges, and depends on what product you are testing for. Say for, cosmetics. They pump certain makeup products into animals' stomachs, rub it into their eyes, etc., just very inhumane things. You know on the back of your toothpaste it says "Do not get in eyes," or "Do not swallow. If swallowed, contact a Poison Control Center immediately." Well, in most cases, it's because they tested the product on animals and, the animal's eyes were infected when they put that product into it, and that they got sick, if not died, when they swallowed it.

If you were wondering what animals most companies test on, it's mainly cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, rabbits, and primates (monkeys). That's right. Cats and dogs are tested on. That means that your little kitty or puppy could be getting chemicals and makeup and toothpaste shoved down their throat for our convenience. And, ironically, 99% of medicines testing on animals that work, DO NOT work on humans. Also, when products are tested on animals, they react differently than we, humans, would react to it.

You might be thinking, well, they're only animals, right? Well, yes, they are animals. But animals can feel pain. They can fear. No animal deserves to be treated like this just so we can use our shampoo or put on our makeup.

Animal testing is barely even necessary anymore. We've been testing for so long that we know almost every single ingredient and chemical that the human body is allergic to. So why test a product on animals that we already know won't harm us? I don't know. We all don't know. Also, scientists have come up with an almost exact replica of the human skin, which some companies have suggested it has their alternative.

Yes, animal testing could be better. Some companies are making animal testing more humane, by giving the animals anesthesia or certain medication to numb them, so they don't feel pain when being testing on. However, lots of remaining companies are not making certain changes. And, if testing on an animal wasn't enough, some people who test on animals treat them cruelly, and hurt them intentionally. Even if all companies decided to make more humane changes and choices, it still does not make it okay. No animal deserves to live in a cage their whole life.

Now, if now you feel the same way that I do about animal testing (that it's not right), you might be wondering if there's anything you can do to help. A major thing is just to not buy from companies that test on animals. To help you, I'm going to give you a list of all the companies that DO test on animals. Now, it's almost impossible to completely live without buying animal tested products. However, you can take little steps, like pledging not to buy animal tested makeup. Even just saying you're not going to buy animal tested toothpaste! Even if the change you make in your life is little, it's still helping save innocent little animals lives.

Yeah, I know, that's almost every company you can imagine. If you've already bought products from these companies, you don't have to throw it out or anything. You've already bought it, and the money you spent on it already went towards the company. You might as well use the product up! I don't want you to waste your money! Just, please, try your best to avoid buying from certain products. It's for the animals sake. <3

If you're not an animal lover like I am, I hope you still realize the harm and hurt that animals are put through. If you do not agree with the opinions I have about this topic then I am sorry for bothering you!

DAY 10: Your best friend.

HULLO EVERRAAYONE. Day 10 is here! Haha. And, to be completely honest, I don't know what this one is all about. Like, yeah, your best friend, but what about your best friend? Like just state a name? Lol, I'm not sure, so... I guess that's all... here's me not understanding Day 10. YAY. Haha. This topic I was supposed to talk about was kind of a fail on my part. OH WELL! Cya!

DAY 9: Your definition of love.

Hello! It's Day 9! Haha. Today I have to talk about my definition of love. Well... let's see... I don't think that love is something you can really and truly define. Actually, there's a few different kinds of love. There's family love. There's friend love. And, there's the relationship type of love. However, they all kind of relate. Anyway, I think that whoever made this challenge was talking about the relationship type of love. Anyway, it's something that, once you actually experience the feeling of love, you'll know it. It's complicated and unconditional. So... yeah. Love is a wonderful thing! Hahaha. Love whoever you want to love, and don't let anyone tell you different. Love is something you can't necessarily control. Everyone should have the right and opportunity to love who they want, live with, and commit to whoever they want! <3

And, yeah, that was me gettin' all sentimental up in herrrrr. Hahah! Cya!

DAY 8: Something I hate about myself.

Hello! Today I have to tell you about something I hate about myself. Let's jump right in! Haha. Well, to start off, I don't really think that anyone should hate anything about themselves. I know, every girl is going to have something they don't like about their face, body, etc., but I don't think you should hate anything about yourself. Something I don't like about myself is my hair. It's just so... typical. Like, everyone in my grade has my hair color! It's dirty blonde by the way. I want to dye it so badly, but my mom won't let me, LOL. Well that's basically all... BYE!

DAY 7: Your crush.

Hello! Today I have to tell you about my crush. Quite honestly, I don't have an actual crush. But, I do have someone who I think is so cuuuuuuuuuuute! I mean, what girl doesn't. But, I'm not going to give names out because what if, for some reason, he saw my blog? That'd be awkward. I'm sure my close friends know who I'm talking about though, LOL! Haha. Well, that's really all. CYA TOMORROW!

DAY 6: A song that makes you cry.

Today I have to tell you about a song that makes me cry. Well, I have two songs that make me cry, actually. I know, I know. The first one I thought of, the one that's above, is called "Hands Held High" by Linkin Park. It's about war, and ugh, it's just so so so so so sad! The next one is called "I'll Try Anything Once" by Julian Casablancas. It's really not that sad, it's just kind of, touching. I'll put that one below. But yeah. Those are the songs that make me cry/have made me cry! Thanks for reading! Cya!

There! Haha. So... that's pretty much all. By the way, I post all of my new 30 Day Challenge posts on the day they're scheduled, at around 1:45p.m., no later. Thanks for reading! Cya!

Well, my name is Hayley if you didn't know. I just looked up the meaning of my name and, it says it means hay meadow... so... My mom however named me after a woman on a soap opera. I dunno why. I don't really like my name to be honest... haha. Soooo... This wasn't a very exciting topic to talk about, but, like always, hope you enjoyed! :P

DAY 1: Five Interesting Facts

I'm going to make this short and sweet, since this is already my third blog post today.

INTERESTING FACT #1:
I recently stopped eating meat. I'm not calling myself a vegetarian yet, since this has only been going on for about two weeks. Once I've been meat free for a month or so, then maybe I'll call myself a vegetarian.

INTERESTING FACT #4:
I'm a big writer. I love writing! I'm currently writing a book called "Beautiful," or "Schön." I only have like two chapters done. But, I also am writing another story that I have 22 Chapters in.

INTERESTING FACT #5:
I can't stand country music. UGH! I don't really like rap either, but I can deal with that.

Soooooo... yeah. I hope you enjoyed Day One! Cya!

Linkin Park and Lemurs

I recently rediscovered Linkin Park... They used to be my favorite band for a couple of years, then gradually, I didn't really listen to them anymore. Now I do... and they've become one of my favorite bands once again! They're probably my second favorite band, after The Strokes.

Oh, and my favorite animal used to be zebras. Now my favorite animal is a lemur! THEY ARE AWESOME. That is all.

Sports!

Next year I'm going to be going into a different school, and going to start playing sports. I've played soccer and basketball before, and I really like basketball, but that isn't in the fall season. Where I live, my school offers three different fall sports options for girls, and three for the boys, also. Those choices are soccer, volleyball, and cross country. I used to like soccer, but now, for some reason, I absolutely hate it. Okay, maybe I don't hate it, but I definitely don't like it. And, volleyball... just, no. No. So, that leaves me with cross country! My sister has done cross country before, and I always wanted to. I was hesitant to sign up for cross country -- that was, until I found out my friend Sophie is doing it too! Yay! I'm excited for it. My mom is going to take me and Sophie running on the cross country trail this summer. Yay again! Haha. Well... I think that's about all I have to say... CYA!

Another Bath and Body Works Blog?!

I'm sorry for all of these Bath and Body Works posts... I just love Bath and Body Works! Haha. I'm going to make this one a bit shorter than the others, just for an easier and quicker read. This blog post is going to be about the scents from Bath and Body Works that I eventually wish to add to my collection. Here we go!
-----------------------------------------------------
Just a heads up...
I'm not being sponsored by Bath and Body Works or anything
like that. I just simply enjoy writing blog posts about that company!
-----------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------
By the way...
in no way am I setting expectations for what I think will be in my
collection later in life. I just listed certain scents that I wish could
be in my collection. Just possibilities. Thanks!
-----------------------------------------------------
Well, that's about all for today. Thanks for reading! Cya!

Bath and Body Works Favorites!

To start off this blog, let me say that I am sick. Sick, sick, sick. So, in a result of that, I didn't go to school, and I have way too much time on my hands. That means a new blog post!Today I'm going to be talking about my favorite products from Bath and Body Works. Not just fragrances, but products overall. Let's get started!

FAVORITE FRAGRANCES
Now, I made this big list of my favorites. I narrowed it down to five. Then I realized that those five fragrances are the exact same as the five that I mentioned in a previous blog post! Yeah. I decided I'm still going to write about them, just with more of a review and why it's one of my favorites. By the way, it does go in order! The first one will be my least favorite out of the five, then five will be my all-time favorite. Make sense? Okay!

1.) Dark Kiss

You can't go wrong with this scent. At first, to be honest, it wasn't one of my favorites. But after awhile of wearing it daily, I've fallen in love with it! It's very romantic, but not too strong in fragrance. I do have to admit, since it's not that strong, it doesn't last as long as I would like it to. I still highly recommend it, though!

2.) Twilight Woods
Unlike the others, to me, Twilight Woods is a strong scent. At first when I put it on, just for a second it seems a bit overpowering. After a minute or two, it settles into my skin and smells amazing!

3.) Secret Wonderland
Secret Wonderland is a lot of peoples' favorites. It's my friend, Emily's favorite, my sister's favorite, and used to be mine. It still is one of my favorites, obviously, but two other fragrances have swept it out of the lead.

4.) Bali Mango
Hannah and Emily know that I have sort of been raving about this scent... I just recently discovered it, and it smells truly wonderful and tropical, and summery! Just what I need to get me into the spring/summer mood, with all of this crappy, forty degree weather lately.

5.) Midnight Pomegranate
Yes, Midnight Pomegranate is my favorite scent! It has a very rich smell to it. I absolutely love it. I recommend this scent to anyone and everyone if you haven't already tried it.

FAVORITE PRODUCTS
This little section thing is just going to be showing you my favorite products of Bath and Body Works overall. I will be using Midnight Pomegranate and a couple of other scents to demonstrate, or 'model,' I guess you could say. Here we go!

1.) Body Lotions
B&BW's body lotions are amazing! I repeat, amazing! They're great quality, and completely worth your money. They moisturize your skin very well, and the fragrance in them last a long, long time! Not only does the smell last a long, long time, so does the amount of product. One of the 8oz. bottles of B&BW lotion lasts me, at the least, 6 months. If you only add a couple of pea-sized drops onto your hand and spread, it WILL last you FOREVER!

2.) Hand Soaps
All of B&BW's hand soaps are very nice. They deeply cleanse and wash your hands, along with leaving a pleasurable scent afterwards.

3.) Sanitizing Hand Gel
These Sanitizing Hand Gel's, or more commonly known as hand sanitizers, are a great thing to have in your purse and in your lunch bag so you can quickly sanitize before eating. Along with all of the other products I mentioned, they have an amazing scent! Unlike most hand sanitizers, they don't leave that strong stench that gives you a headache.

THE END!
Thanks to all who read this whole blog post. Please tell me in the comments of any product from Bath and Body Works you recommend, would like me to review, that you like, etc. I would love to hear from you!

The Blog Post I've Been Waiting To Write!

Unfortunately, I kind of have to do this blog post quickly, since I have to shower soon. Anyway, this blog post is going to be about seasonal fragrances from Bath and Body Works. I had this conversation at lunch today with my friends, and now I'm just going to write about it.

I'm going to start off with winter. I knew which scent I was going to choose right away! And that scent is... Twilight Woods!

Now, moving on to spring. This one took lots of thinking and process of elimination, but I finally chose one... Secret Wonderland! (Secret Wonderland is one of my all-time favorite scents, by the way.)
Next is summer. Again, I knew right away which fragrance I was going to choose. And that is... Bali Mango! I recently discovered this scent just a couple of days ago, and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend it to anyone who likes fruity, exotic, tropical scents.

Fall! Yay! This one I wasn't so sure, but the one I chose was one of my first choices. And that is... Midnight Pomegranate!
I decided to add another little 'section,' and this one is going to be an year-round scent. And this one is... DARK KISS! Yay! Haha.

Well, I've got to take a shower now. Maybe tomorrow I'll make a list of all of my favorite scents from Bath and Body Works tomorrow. Cya!

My Trip To The Mall!

So, yesterday I went shopping for my birthday at the mall. Now, this blog post isn't going to be telling you what I got, since I feel like that'd be bragging. But, if you would like me to, I could tell you guys what I got for my birthday. That'd include what I got from the mall, too. Well, I'd do this little Birthday Haul thing when it's actually my birthday, of course. Anyway, I'm just going to tell you what stores I went to, my experience, things like that. Oh, and by the way, I went shopping with my mother. Okay, finally, the blog post actually starts...

First, on my way to the mall, I passed this one field with the brightest grass I've ever seen! It was almost fluorescent! It was amazing and beautiful. Then, when we actually arrived at the mall, the first place we went to was Macy's. I don't really know why, but my mother and I wanted to look at the purses, and yeah. We didn't buy anything there. Then, we went to Bath and Body Works. Oh, a mall trip for me wouldn't be complete without going here... Haha, anyway, I discovered a new scent, Bali Mango. Oh my gosh, it smells AMAZING! Probably one of my new favorite scents. THAT GIVES ME A GREAT IDEA FOR A BLOG POST! I'll do that blog post later... Haha. Anyway, I also got more stuff from there of my favorite scents. Another place that I went in the mall is Aeropostale. I almost got a pair of shorts from there, but I wasn't crazy about them, so I decided not to 'waste' money for something that I might not wear that much. Then, I went to Hollister. I feel like sometimes, Hollister's clothes are expensive. But, they were having a sale so I got some things. A complaint I have about that store is the lighting... you can barely see anything! While I was there, this one guy even went up to this one girl that worked there and told her! I started laughing.

Lastly, I went to JCPenney. I always end up getting the most there, and I did! I'm not going to tell you exactly what I got, because, again, I feel like that'd be bragging.

Okay, so, that was my trip to the mall. Exciting, right? Haha! Oh, and be expecting a new blog post tomorrow. I'm really excited to write it, but I don't think I should post more than two blog posts today, so yeah... Cya!

Muffin Update

A couple of blog posts ago, I said I was going to tell you how the chocolate chip muffins that my sister and I made turned out. We already made them, like, two weeks ago, but who cares?

Anyways, we're mixing all the ingredients, la de da da da.... Then, when we put the bowl in the Kitchen Aid mixer, and when it's done, we realize something. It's really dry! It was all floury and stuff. So I, being the clever person I am, decided we should add some milk to see what happens. And guess what... the chocolate chip muffin batter was back to the way it should be! Oh yeah, I'm a hero. Haha.

So, moving on. We baked them and everything, and once they were done cooling, my whole family ate one. They were okay... but there weren't enough chocolate chips. I kept on telling my sister to put in more, but she didn't, so it's her fault. :P

Haha, so that's the story of how the muffins were created, and how they turned out. Hope you enjoyed reading! Cya!

A Trip to Germany

If you haven't already read my About Me, then you don't know that I'm part German. I mean, I'm not THAT German. It's not like I have a German accent or anything like that. My friend, Josh, however, says that he can tell that I'm German. How? I don't know. Anyway, because of my heritage, I guess you could say, my dream is to take a trip to Germany.

Mostly everyone knows about the Holocaust, and how it was mainly based in Germany. That being said, there are many museums and tourist attractions about the Holocaust time period in that country that I would like to see. For instance, the Buchenwald Memorial. (Buchenwald concentration camp was a German Nazi concentration camp, established on the Ettersberg near Weimar, Germany, in April 1943, one of the first concentration camps on German soil. The Buchenwald Memorial is all about that concentration camp.) There are also many more museums like that. One other thing that I would love if I were to take a trip to Germany would be to take a tour of Auschwitz. (For those who don't know, Auschwitz was the biggest concentration camp in Germany.)

Historical museums would mainly be the highlight of my trip, but of course, there are many other great things to see and do in Germany that I could enjoy. Beautiful architecture, great food, and more! I would love to stay in Berlin, the capital, while I was on the trip. That is, I might never even go to Germany in my lifetime. But who knows?

If I were to go, I'd have to be a lot older, learn a lot more German, and need a bunch of money. So obviously, I'm not prepared, anyways! Haha. Well, this blog post is really long. I hope you read it all! Cya!

Chocolate Chip Muffins!

So... My favorite muffin is a chocolate chip muffin. Yeah, I know, random. But today, me and my sister are going to go to the store and get ingredients to make them. Yeah, that's right, homemade! Jealous? You should be. Haha, just kidding, but really, I'm excited. I've been craving chocolate chip muffins for a long time. Like, a week. Okay, maybe that's not a long time. Still! Anyway, yesterday, my sister and I were searching for a bunch of chocolate chip muffin recipes, and she's still searching today.

Well, that's the end of the Tuesday blog post. I'll post another blog later about how the chocolate chip muffins turned out. Cya!

WASSUP?!

Hey, everyone! So... today is Tuesday! Honestly, I almost forgot about posting today, but I got on my laptop to check my email and remembered. Anyway, I just finished a project that's due tomorrow. It's about the changing of states of matter. Fun, huh? Yeah. I don't mean to seem cocky or conceited, but I think mine is pretty good. I'm the captain of my group, and I have to "roll out" all of my groups' posters, which I guess will be okay. This morning, when everyone was working on the posters, my friends Sophie and Emily asked if they could get some glitter from our art teacher's room, but then my science teacher said that he had some. So, we used it! At first it was just me, Sophie, and Emily using it, but then other people saw it, and before we knew it, people were snatching the sparkles left and right. It was really hectic, but by the end of the school day I finally finished using the sparkles. Yeah... Anyway, my mom is making cookies and I just heard the timer go off! I'm gonna go and get one! Cya!

I Know That I Always Do This...

I know that I always say I'm going to follow this certain schedule for blog posting, but I never do. If you haven't noticed, I haven't been posting a lot lately. Literally only twice per month, at the most. Now, I really want to follow a schedule. I'm going to make it a bit more flexible, I guess you could say, though. I'm going to post every Tuesday, and one other day in the week, at the least. That's two blog posts per week, at the least, and 8 per month, at the least. I might post more, depending on how much homework I have. So be sure to check on my blog on Wednesdays, to see the Tuesday blog post, because who knows what time of day I'll actually write the blog.

Anyway, enough about that. Let's talk about something a little more interesting! This Saturday, I'm going somewhere for my friend's, Hannah, with one of my other friends, Emily. All my friend is asking for is money, but Emily and I thought that just giving her money isn't fun at all, so we're doing something else, along with giving her some money. Now, Emily and I are doing this gift thing together, after school on Monday, tomorrow. I know Hannah reads these, so I can't say what. Emily and I have had many ideas, one of which we thought was a great one and were very excited about, but couldn't do it. And we also had a different idea, but decided that it would be hard to do. Then, Emily, being the amazing clever person she is, thought of this fantastic idea! It's going to be really fun! I'm excited, and hopefully, Hannah will love it. I'm sure she will!

So, this has been a really long blog post... I'll stop rambling about how excited I am for this gift that I'm giving to Hannah, and go study for this test that I have tomorrow. Yeah. Can I get an UGH? Ha, ha! Cya!

The PARP Fest!

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Anyway, tomorrow is the PARP Fest. PARP stands for Parents as Reading Partners. Basically, tomorrow at school, at 2:30, our whole school goes down to the gymnasium and have a pep rally. There will be relay races, or something like that, and a teacher will have to kiss a pig! I know, it's a really random event but it will be fun. Then, after school, at 6:00, is the actual PARP Fest. There's a bunch of games, raffles, crafts, and more there. It's pretty fun. What's going to make it even more fun is that I'm going with my best friends! Sophie, Emily, and Hannah! I'm really excited! Well, anyway, I have to go! Hopefully more blog posts soon! Cya!

Today is a Beautiful Day!

Hahaha, ignore the cheesy title. But today is really a nice day. It's like, sixty degrees right now. Today in school we went outside. It was fun I guess. But before that, we went to the auditorium to see Irish dancers. It was really boring. I mean, they were good, but I feel like they do the same movements over and over again. No offense to you if you're an Irish dancer! But yeah. Well, I've got to go. Call Em, do homework, and eat a snack! Cya!

Let's Pretend...

...Like I didn't forget about this everyday blogging thing. Hahaha. Anyways, today I'm going to talk about The Sims 3. It's a game that you can play on your computer. It's so awesome! I just went on Wikipedia and found a definition...
"The Sims 3 is a strategic life simulation video game in The Sims franchise, originally created by Maxis."

So, there you go. Basically you create a person. You can name them, customize their facial features, size, shape, anything you can think of! Then, you just control their life. You can get married, have children, get a job, and like I said before, anything you can think of! I got my game January 2010, and I play it a lot. Not as much as I used to, but yeah. Well, I have to go! Cya!

I Know, I Know...

I said that everyday in March, I would do a blog post. Obviously, I haven't. I'm sorry... haha. Starting next Sunday, or March 6th, I will be starting daily blog posts. OH! And just an update (ha, ha, Cecil), I'm obsessed with stars. Every time I see a star, I have to run over to it, if I can, and point, and sometimes touch it. It all started when...

APPROXIMATELY 1:20P.M., MARCH 4th, 2011.
GOT OUT OF GYM CLASS, ON WAY TO LUNCH.

I spot a cool looking star on the back of Matthew's shirt. I proceed to try and touch it. Can not reach it. Matthew slows down. I poke the star by accident. Matthew asks why. I explain. I am now obsessed with stars.

...and that's the story of why I'm obsessed with stars. Hahaha. Anyways, I'm gonna go! Expect daily blogs starting the 6th! Cya! WAIT! Almost forgot! Check out my friend's site by clicking here. Thanks!

Bomb Threat?!

I know, the title is really scary! Well, I have to make this quick, but yesterday our school had an emergency evacuation. We went to a nearby church. They made popcorn, but of course, I didn't get any. We stayed there for a little over an hour. It really wasn't that bad. My friends -- Sophie and Emily -- sang songs together to pass the time. Then finally, we could go back to the school. The sidewalks were really slippery and I almost fell down a bunch of times. It wasn't that cold, though. Anyways, we evacuated the school around 12:00, then came back at around 1:20-1:30ish. We still hadn't eaten lunch yet, and of course (again), my grade was scheduled to eat lunch last. They said we were to eat at 2:00, but that was almost a complete lie. The people who brought their lunch ate around 2:10, and thankfully, I brought my lunch. But people who didn't bring their lunch ate around 2:30. Even before lunch, I started to feel like I was about to faint and was shaking. It was terrible. Everyone is fine now, though. Later on the announcements came on and told us that there had been a bomb threat. There are a bunch of rumors, but I'm trying to stay away from all the gossip. Anyways... I have to go shower! Cya!

Cow Eye Disection and Bacon Buddies!

Today in science we had to dissect a cow eye! It was terrible. I was partners with my friend Michaela. We took turns cutting it and stuff... it was so gross! Oh, and my friends Sophie, Emily and I are bacon buddies. LOL! Since I have a lot of time, I might as well tell you how the bacon buddies were born! Okay that sounded weird. But you know what I meant. Haha anyways... one day at chorus, Sophie and I didn't have the lyrics to this once song and we had no idea what the words were, so we just started singing the word bacon over and over again to the beat of the song. Then after that, it was our little inside joke. I wrote bacon on my math journal, and all over other stuff. After awhile, we transformed (okay, that sounded weird again) into bacon buddies! And my friend Emily is a bacon buddy, too! Sophie is bacon buddy number one, I'm number two, and Emily is number three. It goes in order of height! Well, we didn't do that on purpose, it just worked out that way. Emily is the tallest, I'm in the middle, and Sophie is the shortest. Well I have to go! Cya! Hopefully another blog post tomorrow! :)

What I'm Wearing!

Just letting you know that the reason I haven't posted since Valentines Day is because I took a little break. I hope you didn't/don't mind... Haha anyways...

Today my half sister is coming over with her baby. She is SO adorable! The baby, not my half sister, LOL. Well, my half sister isn't ugly or anything, it'd just be weird if I called her adorable. Hahaha. My parents got a little walker thingy for my niece to use so she can walk around. She can't walk yet, she's only 7 months, but she can sit up and is starting to crawl.

This really isn't interesting at all, but I'm having chicken for dinner today. And yesterday night, my sister and I made some cake. It tasted really good, but it looked really weird. It was like, deformed.

Today I actually got ready. Usually Sundays are really lazy for me. But I got dressed somewhat nicely, not just jeans and a t-shirt. What I'm wearing is a Hollister cropped hoodie (that is like a t-shirt, since it doesn't go all the way down to my wrists, just below my shoulders) with an Aero white cami underneath, a pair of Abercrombie jeans, and MATCHING socks. Can I repeat those last couple of words? MATCHING SOCKS! It's like a miracle! Haha. And I actually did my hair. I straightened it, and put my bangs up in two tan coloured barretts (that I got from my friend for Christmas.) I also painted my nails again. In a silvery colour. It's really pretty! Oh, and I almost forgot, I did my makeup! Just really suttle. I used a mineralized neutral shadow (I got this from a friend as well!) and put on a little bit of mascara.

I'm really proud of myself for getting ready if you couldn't tell LOL!

Well, that's all that's happened today. Cya!

Hayl...

So today I thought I'd do something a little bit different. I'm going to be writing about how I got the name Hayl! Now, if you didn't know already, my real name isn't Hayl. It's Hayley. Basically, how I got the name Hayl was that in the beginning of the school year, my language arts teacher asked if we had any nicknames that you wanted her to call you. I said no, and for the people who said no, she still eventually gave a nickname to. For example, my BFF Emily's nickname is Em, a boy in my class' name is Jay (or J... I'm not sure), for Jason, and Jess for Jesse. Mine I thought would be Hay, but instead, she called me Hayl. And since then, my friends started calling my Hayl too, along with some other nicknames. My other BFF, Hannah, calls me by my last name sometimes. And Emily calls me Sar, short for sarcastic, since I'm sarcastic a lot. Makes sense, right? Anyways... I learned some more German! Was ist los? That means what's up. Another phrase is... Ich liebe dich. That means I love you. Oh, by the way, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! <3 Hahaha, well I have to eat dinner soon! Cya!

CHANGES, CHANGES, CHANGES!

I'm sorry. I've been changing things too much. Today I'm going to be changing the look of the blog, probably the layout, background, font. Things like that. So if it's changed a lot, which I'm going for (I'm not to fond of the layout now... I don't even like jellybeans!), don't get freaked out. And I know I wasn't supposed to blog today, since I blogged yesterday, but I just wanted to notify you about this change. Another change. Sorry again. Hahaha.

Another Change!

I'm going to change the schedule of my blog a bit. I'm not going to completely follow it. For instance, say there was supposed to be no blog on Friday, I might still post. The schedule is just something I plan on following a bit, just to feel more organized. Anyways, lately I've been teaching myself some German. I'm part German, and, that's why I wanted to learn it. Let me see if I can figure out how to say something... I'm thinking... Yea I don't know how to say what I was going to say. Oh, well. Well, I'm going to get some ice cream! You can except a slightly more interesting post tomorrow. Auf Wiedersehen!

SO...

Greenbay won. I'm sad. Haha. Anyways, today is Tuesday. Like usual, there's nothing too exciting to talk about... yeah... I had a social studies test. And I got to leave intramurals early. I don't really like intramurals, since none of my really close friends are there with me. I had a couple of good friends that are there, but, yea. Haha.

I don't know why I just thought of this, but a conversation that my friends and I had today, was about lip glosses. Specifically Bath and Body Works lip glosses. If you couldn't tell already, I'm obsessed with Bath and Body Works. Pretty much my favorite store. Anyways, I want to get more lip glosses there. Haha. Random, huh?

Oh, and today when I got home I organized my makeup. I don't really wear makeup, except for at special events and things like that. I noticed I have a lot of eyeshadow. Almost too much, for how infrequently I wear eyeshadow. Yeah...

Another thing was that today, my friend's cookie fell on the floor, so she put it back in her little plastic lunch bag thing. Oh, and by the way, she's kind of germ freak... sorry, Em. Anyways, since she's anti-germ (haha that sounds SO mean but I swear I'm not trying to be!), I was like, "Was this on the table?" So she nodded, said yes, can't really remember, but somehow she said yes. Then I proceed to eat it, and when I take a bite of it, she decides to tell me it fell on the floor. That's okay, though, because either way I would've ate it. Then she runs over to me and shouts at me not to eat it. Guess what? I shove the rest of the cookie in my mouth. Teehee! Haha, and then, we make a bet. The bet is that if I will get sick or not. If I don't go to school and don't feel good, I have to pay her three dollars, and then vise-versa. Oh, and I should mention that I still owe my friend a dollar for the super bowl bet thing. Then again, he still owes me around two dollars for swearing. Whenever he swears and I hear, he has to pay me twenty five cents. Wow... I've been betting on a lot of things lately... :O

Hahaha, anyways, I think I'm gonna go and practice my story telling book. Cya!

Looooove,
Hayl

The SUPA-BOWL!

I feel like I haven't done a blog post in a while. Yesterday I slept over at a friends house! It was fun. Today my half sister is coming over, and so is my niece.

Oh, and that poem below was something I wrote a long, long, LONG time ago, last year, when something happened. I just wanted to delete from my documents because I had lots. Just wanted to let you know!

So... getting to the point... today is the super bowl. Go Steelers! Yes, I am rooting for the Steelers. I always liked the Steelers, and probably always will... Haha. My friend and I are betting a dollar on who will win. If the Steelers win, he pays me a dollar. If the Packers win, I pay him a dollar. Yep.
Well, that's about all I have to say... Cya!

OMG!

I just realized it's February... hahahahaha. Just thought I'd make a quick blog post about that. Well, tomorrow is Groundhog's Day... Yeah. Oh, and I still haven't started my homework... Just an update. Hahaha my friend hates when I say that. "Just an update," I mean. OKAY WELL I'M GONNA START MY HOMEWORK NOW, ACTUALLY. I PROMSIE. I MEANT PROMISE. LOL. Cya!

Xoxo,

Another Blog?!

Yea, another blog. I share it with my friend! There's one post there now. You can go there by clicking here. Yep. Anyways...

Again, I'd really like it if you'd comment! Just sayin'...

I know my friends read them. Oh, and if you'd like, just post your comment as anonymous. I don't care. Haha. Yea I don't know what to talk about. Today I had a test. Yayyyyyy! Oh and I folded my science poster thing in my backpack by accident. Now it's not pretty anymore haha.

Today my friend, Hannah, gave me a sticker that said "BOYS R US." I put it on my hand... Interesting story huh?

OH... I've been learning some German lately! Hallo, wie geht es ihnen? I just said "Hello, how are you?" or something like that. I'm not that good. I can't really pronounce the words, but I can say them.

Well I'm gonna start my homework. It's already five. Well I don't have that much. So it's okay. Haha. Cya!

Folk Tales, The Strokes, and the Egyptian Government!

So I should be following the schedule. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Okay... Honestly I don't have anything to talk about. I'm supposed to be doing my homework right now, but I got frustrated and stopped. You see, sometimes I'm dumb and wait til the day before something is due to do it. I need a folk tale for this assignment, and, well. I don't have a folk tale. Sad, right? Yea. I'm trying to find them online but I'm scared... Like, what if my language arts teacher asks where I got the book or something? Ack, I guess I'll just lie. But I shouldn't lie! Why did I just say that? Now I'm freaking out. I worry too much. Anyways... I'm listening to music to calm me down. Ha, is that weird? NAH. Well, I'm listening to a song called "Razorblade" by a band called The Strokes. The Strokes are my favorite band ever! Their new album is coming out March 22nd. I'm so excited! The album name is "Angles." I'm asking for it for my birthday, which is after the album is released.

I'm probably boring you with that music talk. If you're reading this, you're probably my actual real life, Emily or Hannah. And I know you wouldn't like The Strokes. Yeah...

I thought of another topic! The Egyptian government. It's been on TV a lot lately. Like, I feel bad for Egyptians and Egypt and stuff like that, but I don't understand why it has to be on the news all of the time, when it doesn't even involve our country. Oh, I live in America by the way haha.

So... maybe I should get to that homework thing. I sighed when I typed that, just so you know. Hahahaha! Cya!
